I've always been fascinated by animated films, and curious about the complexity of how they work. That influenced me to transition from traditional art to digital art.
For my final project, I’ve constructed an animated story called The Letter, set in fictional World War trench warfare where I wanted to portray a realistic war experience. It focuses on one character, depicting the life of a soldier in the middle of a battlefield where bullets fly everywhere, not knowing but hoping that he lives for another day. The animation gives importance to every soldier on a battlefield regardless of their personal background, as they too have also sacrificed their lives for what they are fighting for. They too, have a story to tell. During my studies at Ara, I've acquired various technical skills and met wonderful passionate people who are keen to help one another while still having fun, I discovered that my interest is in designing environmental and props design concepts, as well as concept character design. As a result, my ultimate goal would be a career in the gaming/animation industry as a professional concept artist.
