I specialise primarily in menswear. I’ve noticed a gap in the menswear market, specifically in New Zealand, where finding high-quality, well-designed clothes is difficult. I aim to fill this gap.
After a work placement with Mark van Roosmalen at MvR Tailoring, I was tasked with designing and constructing a collection with an open-ended brief: “Using traditional tailoring techniques, create a contemporary fashion collection for people aged between 18-25”.
Tailoring - in my eyes - can only be as good as the fabric being used. That’s why I used high-quality fabrics such as heavy worsted wool outers for breathability, fine merino lining for warmth, New Zealand deer napa leather for its soft feel, and heavy 18.5 oz denim for the durability.
I hope you see something of value in the things I make. I will be opening commissions and working on custom pieces soon.
