I started doing photography when I was younger as I loved birds and I enjoyed sitting watching them and taking images, I also used to get dragged around the hockey turf and so I started taking photos as a way to fill in time and I really enjoyed it.
For my project I decided that I wanted to use it to have a physical representation of something that is mostly invisible. I have had quite a journey with mental health over my degree so finishing off with this project has been awesome and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I loved using lots of alternative techniques to visually represent mental health and I feel like the creation of these images is part of what makes them so cool.
