Why should you hire a designer?
There are many free programs available for businesses to make designs themselves, so why would someone hire a designer?
Date Your Designer aims to answer this question, by providing a handy resource that businesses can refer to if they’re curious about what the world of design has to offer them.
Often designers and agencies can be perceived as cold and only in it for the money, but that’s not the case. Designers want to see your business succeed as much as you do, but they can only work with the information they’ve been given. By “dating” your designer, you’re encouraged to form a relationship with them that helps them to craft more personal designs to really help your business stand out. Isn’t that cooler than some random template?
My execution of this concept is a prototype website “handbook” that I made using Figma. This is so I can reuse some of the UX skills I learnt during my website development diploma to create something interactive and fun for an audience to use.
